Miu Ezra Hart, PhD, LMHC, is a Seattle-based therapist specializing in child, adolescent, and LGBTQ populations. He is a licensed psychologist and graduate of the School Psychology PhD program at the University of Washington. Dr. Hart has experience providing evidence-based treatment to youth and adults in a range of settings, including private and group practice, hospitals and medical settings, and public schools. His doctoral research focused on the use of arts-based mindfulness as a culturally responsive wellness intervention for school-age youth.

Services
I offer long-term psychotherapy as well as mental health evaluations to determine readiness for gender affirming medical intervention.
All services are provided virtually, via HIPAA-compliant, secure video conferencing.
Psychotherapy
In long-term psychotherapy, my priority is to cultivate a trusting therapeutic relationship and to provide you with a safe environment for your wellness journey. Together we will create an individualized treatment plan and set goals to identify and address challenging patterns of emotions, thoughts and behaviors.
Gender Support Evaluations
Some gender-affirming medical interventions, such as surgical procedures, require a letter of support from a licensed mental health professional. I will meet with you to discuss your gender goals and readiness for your desired procedure. My goal in this process is to serve as your advocate and write a letter that accurately represents your experiences and expectations. Letters are written following the WPATH Standards of Care.

The Authorization to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) is an authorization granted by the PSYPACT Commission that allows its holders to practice telepsychology across state lines. This designation allows me to provide telehealth services across participating states, giving you greater flexibility and access to care. Whether you're at home, traveling, or relocating, this authorization helps to ensure that your therapy can continue without interruption.
